Google launches Blog Compass app for Indian Bloggers

In the last 2 years, Google is very much concerned to launch new apps which will be helpful to the Indian Market. Within a year, Google has launched two apps, Tez (now Google Pay) and Datally- a mobile data manager. Recently, Google launched the app Blog Compass. The app helps bloggers to manage their sites and easily find newest topics to write about on the basis of Google’s trending topics. The suggestions will be displayed on the basis of the blogger’s interest as well as his/ her search history.

Google Compass allows bloggers to handle their sites by checking their site’s statistics, allowing comments and providing useful tips to make their blogs more successful.

The app works effectively well with the two most powerful blogging platforms WordPress and blogger.

Blog Compass is especially useful for all the people who are just getting into the blogging world and don’t have enough idea about how the blogging works. This app will be helpful to a large number of users in India, as it is a growing market for bloggers.

However, a popular blogger knows all the details about how to write posts, where to research, which audience to target, etc. This approach will definitely bring more audience. But a better idea is to write on a topic in which you are passionate about.

As per the Blog Compass Website, Screenshots show some of the basic lessons the app will provide. It provides basic details like getting started with SEO and Analytics, how to list your website on google, etc.

The app consists of minimalistic design, along with navigation through tabs at the bottom of the screen to check various sections such as home, activity, topics, and badges.

The main idea is to provide topic research and blog management in one app, something which is not possible in WordPress and Blogger’s own mobile apps.

It is still unclear whether Google will launch the app for other market or not. Presently, the app is specially developed for all the Indian bloggers.
