Samsung is very much excited to celebrate its 10th Anniversary of Galaxy S-series by releasing Galaxy S10 in 2019, rumors about the upcoming smartphone are attacking from all over the Internet. One of the latest reports suggests that the new Galaxy S10 variant will have the dual camera setup at the front and triple camera setup at the back. However, earlier reports have already been providing details about the existence of five cameras in the smartphone, the recent report duplicates the leaks and suggests that top-end model will have them. The news arrives at the time when Samsung is teasing the launch of smartphones with 4 cameras for October 2018.
According to the ETNews report of South Korea, Samsung will release a variant of Galaxy S10 with a total of five cameras – a pair at the rear and a triple camera at the back. According to earlier reports, Samsung will release 3 lineups next year, two Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ successors, and one variant with a lower price rate. As per the newest report, the top-end model will consist of 5 cameras. But, the report doesn’t provide any details about their specifications.
The Galaxy S10 will be the first smartphone from Samsung to utilize a triple camera setup. The report states this model will fall under ultra-premium models. Apart from this, it will launch a premium model with 4 cameras (one front camera and 3 cameras at the back) and a standard model with 3 cameras (one front camera and 2 back cameras).
As per the earlier reports, the Galaxy S10’s triple camera setup will have a 12MP lens with f/1.5 to f/2.4 variable aperture, 16MP lens super-wide-angle lens (123 degrees) at f/1.9 aperture and 13MP zoom lens with f/2.4 aperture. For now, it is expected that front camera will have a 12MP main lens with a variable aperture (f/1.5 to f/2.4) and 16MP super-wide-angle lens with f/1.9 aperture.
